Meet the people volunteering for the 2022 MAP Board of Trustees

Darlene Rollins

Darlene Rollins has followed the Pathwork since 1984 and has found it to be the greatest map for navigating life and the spiritual journey that life is. She has her own small retreat near Fredericksburg Virginia where she offers Pathwork retreats and sessions and Nature programs.

Darlene has served on the BoT 2 previous times as council representative and as a voting member. She believes the time is right to change our organizational structure to go into the future and to be inclusive and supportive of growing our community and Pathwork Programs.

Don E. Harvey

I am 71 years old. I am retired after 34 years with the National Park Service. Mypastime of hiking led me to the Park service, and just strengthened my lifelong love of nature.

I am an Associate Pathwork Helper. I first encountered the Pathwork in the early eighties. I have taught in the Pathwork Transformation program for at least 11years. I have been a Guild Steward for 6 years, serving as the secretary for thegroup. I have a deep love of the land of Sevenoaks and have developed arelationship with some of the places and spirits of the place.

I am a shamanic practitioner. I have led many Shamanic drum/journeys circlesduring community weekends. I also have led numerous sweat lodges for various groups there. I feel my knowledge of the physical structure of Sevenoaks, of the various programs presented there, my experience in leadership, my willingness to serve, and my love of the land make me a uniquely qualified candidate for the Board of Trustees.

Miriam smith

Rodney Ickes

Rodney Ickes graduated from the 5-year regional Pathwork Transformation Program in 2016. He participated in several Pathwork workshops and process groups throughout the past 12 years. He is a current graduate student at Union Presbyterian Seminary and serves with Bon Secours Mercy Health as a Spiritual Care Partner volunteer providing pastoral care to hospice patients. He also serves as a volunteer Clinic Defender & Escort at a Richmond Women's Clinic. He has served on the boards and vestries of nonprofits and religious organizations. He is an ordained Religious Science minister and is currently a member at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Church Hill, VA. Thanks to the transformative power and help of the Pathwork in overcoming childhood trauma, Rodney feels called toward chaplaincy within a sexual trauma arena. He regularly visits Sevenoaks where he reflects on the personal healing and integration that has taken place on the property. He retired in 2019 and currently lives in Richmond with his husband of nearly 4 years. He has three adult children and five grandchildren. He's looking forward to serving Sevenoaks to the best of his ability as desired.

Julia Jensen

Julia found Pathwork while on a spiritual quest that began in 1989. She is a Pathwork helper, a teacher in the Pathwork Transformation Program, and the Transformation Program Coordinator for the MidAtlantic Pathwork. She works with individuals and groups who are seeking a spiritual approach to life that facilitates abundance, pleasure and love.

Tricia Walker

Tricia Walker came to us 7 years ago to attend a Community Weekend. She has regularly been in contact with discussions around Pathwork and the Guides teachings and has a deep respect and love for the work done here at SevenOaks. Hearing of the vacancies that recently opened up, she has offered her assistance as a board member. Her experience with managing non-profit organizations, creating and overseeing successful programs, will greatly serve our community and SevenOaks. Tricia and Patrick OHanlon have been partners for the last 6 years sharing a rich relationship to spirituality, Pathwork, SevenOaks, and each other. Upon retirement, she is spending her time dedicated to humanitarian pursuits in developing countries.

Being familiar with the current situation that SevenOaks is facing and having leadership experience in the non-profit arena, I feel called to assist as able in the role of a board member for the legal and functional restructuring of the governance body and its alignment with the mission of the organization.
